Do DT Hubs change the track width of the unit?
No.
How much weight do the DT Hubs add?
400 lbs per wheel end.
Are there any component alterations required to the rear ends?
No.
How are the DT Hubs attached?
The DT Hub spindle is designed to slide over the existing spindle and bolt up to the brake spider flange.
Do I need to buy special brake components?
No, we use the OEM supplied brakes.
Are parts hard to get?
No, DT Planetaries Inc. has a complete supply of parts and your order is a phone call away.
How do you get from direct drive to planetary drive?
A dash mounted switch which supplies air to the DT Hubs and in turn shifts the hubs from direct drive to planetary drive.
How many miles can I expect to get on a set of DT Hubs?
To date we have a customer that has over 1,000,000 miles on the DT Hubs and has not had a failure.
What size of rubber can be used with the DT Hubs?
11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 1200R24
How long does it take to install on a tandem?
30 hours.
How long does it take to install on a tridem?
39 hours.
